Lesson Two Overview – Tasseled Tote Cyber Class
This week, Tasseled Tote Lesson 2 will complete the second main stripe of the beautiful needlepoint tote design. Here the accent colors come into play. The exciting Bargello Crescent Swirl Stitch is the main stitch used for this stripe. It is stitched in a great Silk and Ivory thread with the added sheen of RibbonFloss.
Accents are very stunning for this area. We will be adding a Diamond Eyelet using pearl cotton. A Sprats Head Variation is stitched at an angle different from the design. It, too, is in pearl cotton.
Next we will be adding some glitz by attaching wonderful twisted, mirror-lined bugle beads. This will be attached in a unique way using a Kreinik Braid.
So, sit down and prepare yourself to go on the journey of creating a beautiful second stripe for the Stirling tote insert known as Tasseled Tote!
