SPLASH – NEEDLEPOINT
Splash is a typical little boy surrounded by his favorite color – blue. He is a companion to a little girl named Splish.
Hand-painted on 18 count Zweigart monocanvas, 10 inches by 12 inches.
His bathroom is decorated with blue accents in the curtains, baseboard and towel. These accents are created with decorative stitches such as Scotch Stitch, Darning Pattern, Upright Gobelin, Satin Stitch, and Straight stitches, to name a few.
Splash has a rough and tumbled head of brown hair. His tumbled hair style is created with the combination of special laying of stitches and overdyed threads.
Splash's bathtub is overflowing with fantastic 3-D bubbles created with specialty stitches and unique thread.
Splash is being kept company with his very close companion, his pet puppy dog.
