GOLDEN AMBER 3 inch Needlepoint Ornament Class

The rich colors of gold and amber combine in the art of needlepoint stitches and beading in this second of a series of 3 inch elegant ornaments for the intermediate level stitcher.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Golden Amber Needlepoint<\/strong> design turns an ordinary Styrofoam ball\u00a0into a fairy-tale ornament with elegant beaded embellishments.<\/span><\/p>\n

Stitches include the Brick <\/strong><\/em>, Crescent Stitch, Victorian Step Stitch, Slanted and Upright Gobelin, Long-Arm Cross Stitch, and Triangle Stitch Variation<\/strong><\/em>. <\/span><\/p>\n

Additionally, the student will use Specialty Fibers such as YLI\u00a0RibbonFloss <\/strong>and Metallics <\/strong>– including YLI RibbonFloss Metallics <\/strong>and Kreinik Size #16 Braid <\/strong>in two colors. <\/span><\/p>\n

Embellishments include Beads such as\u00a03mm faux pearls<\/strong>, mirror-lined bugle beads<\/strong>, and faux crystal teardrops<\/strong>. <\/span><\/p>\n

As a final bonus, the student will learn how to create this enchanting round ornament from a flat, stitched piece of fabric and top it off with a fluffy bow. The finishing is easily accomplished by the stitcher with guidance from Sandy Arthur.<\/span><\/p>\n
