Dogwood Elegance <\/strong>is a box top that is stitched in a variation of the Phulkhari stitch<\/strong><\/em>. This is an ancient technique attributed to India. <\/p>\n Threads used to achieve this technique include Rainbow Gallery Fiesta<\/strong>, which adds a rich luster to the box top, Splendor silks <\/strong>in two colors, and Very Velvet <\/strong>which gives a deep elegance to the design. <\/p>\n Well illustrated diagrams <\/strong>which include a master diagram<\/strong> and individual diagram of centerpiece, enable this design to be accomplished quickly. <\/p>\n This design is stitched on 18 count Zweigart<\/strong> monocanvas. Other fabrics that can easily be used include Zweigart<\/strong> Aida 18 <\/strong>or congress cloth.<\/strong><\/p>\n The design area is 8" x 8". <\/p>\n Dogwood Elegance <\/strong>is displayed in a beautiful cherry\/mahogany hardwood box distributed by Sudberry House<\/strong>.
